A little bit more about me…

My name is Ezinne aka Ezi, I’m Nigerian, born and bred but I also lived in the Netherlands and eventually migrated to Vancouver, Canada where I studied at the University of British Columbia.

I honestly love people and desire to understand more about human motivation in an effort to be able to support and show love to the people that need it the most, including myself, which is why I studied Psychology. My desire to create beauty services that especially cater to and empower black women is why I eventually did a Masters in Business Management after starting a business braiding hair for black girls on my university campus.

Eventually, when I went natural in 2014, I was immersed into a whole new way of understanding my hair and taking care of it. This was the reason why I started posting natural hair pictures and videos along with natural hair tips and other informational content. Again, with the aim of helping and inspiring other black women to love and embrace their own natural hair.

This brings us to where I am now, I am a UK-based natural hair & beauty influencer who also works as an Operations & Logistics Specialist.

I love creating content that informs, enlightens, and brings joy to people around me (virtually & in real life) - as such, you might find me posting singing and dancing videos as they are both passions of mine!

Other than creating content, I love my hubby, my family, and friends; I also enjoy eating good food and sweets!! On the side, my amazing husband, Martin & I started a clothing business called Nkiti Designs in 2019 and this also keeps us busy!

Anyways, that’s a little bit more about me, I hope you enjoy browsing this site and reading more about my natural hair journey so far.

Love,

Ezi

“I love my hair because it’s a reflection of my soul. It’s dense, it’s kinky, it’s soft, it’s textured, it’s difficult, it’s easy and it’s fun. That’s why I love my hair.” - Tracee Ellis Ross
